Concept
The idea behind Kultuur Studios stems directly from our mission; to support and inspire the creators of today and tomorrow. We believe in a world where creativity is not only encouraged but actively enabled by companies like us. Our creative spaces will be designed from the ground up with creators in mind, encompassing the latest design trends and technologies to create an unrivalled experience for those who use them.
How it works
Kultuur Studios will offer creative co-working and shared work spaces available through a range of membership packages from a few hours to a few months, all without having to commit to a lease or contract. Our spaces will be designed to cater to creators and creative businesses, offering editing suites, photography and videography studios, dedicated art spaces, rehearsal spaces and recording studios alongside more traditional meeting facilities and open spaces to host events, galleries and more.
Impact
In line with our mission and our social impact strategy, Kultuur Studios will be made available, for free, to those who need the facilities most. Our spaces will serve as hubs for local creative communities, offering free time to young creators, entrepreneurs, schools, youth groups and more. We want to inspire and enable the next generation of creative minds whilst providing a valuable service for local businesses and contributing to the communities that host our spaces. From free public galleries to free workshops, our spaces are designed to connect communities, businesses and young creators making an impact now and long into the future.
When and Where?
We're aiming to open our first Studio location in our home town of Whitehaven, right on the Cumbrian coast. There's still a lot of work to do but we're aiming to open this first location by the end of 2024. From there we hope to gradually expand to more locations in Cumbria and then across the UK.
